No ones at work?
Got off work and started calling boutiques, where they have you directed by knowing the person last name(found through linkedin) and it goes to vociemail. Are they just ignoring my calls? I've done block calls and non-block calls.
Am i cold calling mad late? Or should i cold call monday morning?
5:30 on a Friday definitely isn't late by banking standards, but if people are looking to get out of the office they are probably less likely to pick up a call from a number they don't recognize.
Especially with today being their last Fri on earth :)
If these guys are in trading, just about everyone past Analyst or Associate leaves by 4:30-5PM on a Friday (why am I still here again?). Call back at lunchtime for trading, 10 AM for banking. Whatever you do, don't call anyone in Equities trading at exactly 9:30 AM EDT.
The receptionist is likely gone and the others may be able to see that the inbound calls are coming from through the main number (i.e. you don't know them well enough to have their direct line).
