Nomura Analyst Salary?

Hi,

Does anyone know if Nomura follows the usual 60k base 10k sign-on benchmark for 1st year analysts in M&A or is it lower? What about Nomura S&T? Asking specificially for NY/London office. I imagine they pay lower that the street average, however, please share if you know or have heard anything from other people.

Thank you all for your time.

Hi, does anyone know? Please repond if you do, I would really appreciate as I am under a time constraint and have limited American Wall St. contacts that I can speak with for more information. Thanks.

The Tokyo office thing you heard is out of context. In Japan, bankers are traditionally paid a smaller base and get overtime instead of a bonus. The changes basically switched the pay structure to follow the standard base+bonus system, therefore following the rest of the street.

My buddy had an offer as an analyst for their NY office, and he said base was slightly above street. Not sure about all-in comp.

Nomura is not a BB, but they are going places.
