Hey guys. Given the choice between Nomura IBD and Citi Corporate Banking which would you choose for a summer analyst position?
The goal is IB upon graduation and eventually PE. Which would you choose and why?

Nomura IBD - it's what you want to do after graduation and a much easier path to PE. You can network before/while you're there to recruit for FT and worst case scenario you try to lateral after a ~year.
I had a friend who worked at Nomura/HSBC/SG for a year, lateraled to BB/EB and recruited for PE from there. Probably easier than making a lateral from CB.
I would go for Citi CB. They encourage mobility and after 12-18 months you can ask to move to IBd..
