Avoid Normura like the plague unless losing pitches for 2 years is your idea of a good learning experience.

BBB London presence is 90% UK mid-cap sales and research coverage, super small "IB" team of like 20 people (if you can call it IB). UK PLC focus (v little private activity) and does decently well in this area - I know someone who works in research there and enjoys it.

HL is 95% £150/200m private sell-side M&A. 

Toss up between BBB and HL - purely depends where your interests lie (private sell-side M&A versus UK PLC)
