Nomura vs JPM

Hey guys, I recently got an offer for IB at JPM in the summer analyst program as it seems that people have reneged their offers. However, I had already accepted an offer with Nomura in the summer and possibly entering the consumer and retail group. I know that JPM is more prestigious on the street than Nomura. I would like to know what be the best option for someone that is planning to start their career in IB but has plans of moving into PE

Absolutely take JPM, Nomura will not give you the opportunity to go to PE at all.

Tell Nomura that you have decided that due to personal reasons you will not be able to make it and keep your mouth shut (no linkedin announcements or anything) and accept JPM

Congrats man, it would be stupid not to take it.
