Non-finance exit ops for operations

hi,

are there any non-finance exit ops for operations analysts from BBs? for example to consulting? what sort of options are available if i do an MBA after a few years in ops? thanks.

Seriously though, why would you be seen any differently than anyone else with no consulting experience post mba? The whole point is that it allows you to switch careers, right?

thanks for the response. actually i read somewhere on WSO that getting into a good MBA program is harder with no consulting experience because the school will have a harder time placing you. are you saying that with an MBA any career switch is possible, even BB ops to consulting?
