Non-Target, call with a director at a big4 M&A TAS, seeking advice.
I'm excited (and nervous) because I've managed to land a call with a Director in M&A Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) at a Big 4 firm. As someone coming from a non-target university I'm determined to make the best possible impression.
I'm looking for some advice from anyone who's been in a similar position, or who has experience with Big 4 TAS.
Specifically, I'm trying to optimize for:
Absolute must-knows about Big 4 M&A TAS? Beyond the typical "due diligence," what other nuances should I be aware of?
Are there any "rookie" questions to avoid that might signal a lack of understanding?
Beyond a standard thank you, what can I do to stand out in my follow-up?
