Not getting staffed
Fellow monkeys - Question is, if the feedback is good and my staffer knows it (they delivered it) why is she/he giving second-tier staffing? Anyone seen or been on this situation? For context, I am in a bulge bracket with solid deal flow, yet haven't been staffed in execution stage in these 5 months.
Just chill and recognize what a great spot you're in to recruit.
Am I though?
The group is known in the street and if I haven’t been in the main deals happening during my time here, have I been here at all?
Any advice is welcome

Talk to your staffer about it.
Did so - not much insight from that
Sounds like you're overthinking this and this is the reason. Rare to get a mandate without ever having talked to the client and if you'd pitched to the client previously, presumably whoever worked on the last marketing presentation would get staffed on the mandate.
Yeah that may be the case - recommendations? Keep up the good work and wait?
Would say talk to your staffer but sounds like you already did.
Does your bank have a meaningful amount of dealflow? If so, just wait. It'll come eventually. Avoid the trap of telling everyone who will listen you have a ton of capacity - you don't want 5 things to suddenly materialize all at once and not be able to handle the workload
