I decided I'd rather study something besides business undergrad and still go into finance after based on what some alumni from my high school have been able to do and recommended. That said, is Georgetown just straight up better for placement (even non mcdonough) than non Mendoza Notre Dame?
I know there are a ton of other considerations, but based purely on placement, which is better?

The only exception is if you're fanatically religious, but even then, Gtown places better.
Purely based on placement, Georgetown easily. MSB, SFS, and the college all get saucy placement in banking. SFS might actually be better than MSB because not only does it have the best kids interested in IR/Gov out there- and banks just want the smartest kids, regardless of interest- but the majors you get in it are all super unique so when you apply for a job you've got a diversity card up your sleeve if you're coming in with a major like international political economy as opposed to just being another of a hoard of finance/accounting double majors and the like. But yeah, Georgetown without question.
