It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. There just aren't going to be many jobs to be had. You are about to go from five pure plays to two (Just MS and GS left). Also, if you aren't at a top, top school I believe you will have a very tough time getting a W$ job-it isn't even a certainty for those kids.

Law School's getting record applications as is (same as MBA programs). A lot of recent Big Law grads are totally pumped that they got offers in the departments that deal with Finance. Unless you're doing bankruptcy or restructuring, those job are not safe either.

corp law going to get hit by slowdowns from ib problems most likely.... big4 i expect will hold up better but i mean before this mini crisis happened there was already layoffs around 3% of employees at Big4 like Deloitte.
