NYC Summer Housing

I've talked to a number of friends that recommend NYU apartments/dorms for a summer internship. Was wondering If any of you all have stayed at NYU and which apartment/dorm you would recommend staying in.

I actually stayed in Carlyle Court NYU dorms. For a little breakdown:

Pros: * Easy access to 4,5,6 and N,Q,R,W lines at Union. Sq Station * Little hassle in set up (I applied in February and it was quick and easy) * Rooms are air conditioned * Decent grocery options, access to NYU gym (Palladium), central location

Cons: * Chance you're living in living room and dorm with 3 other roomates * Union Square gets insanely crowded during Summer weekends

When I was interning in 2015 I stayed at Third Avenue North dorms, I thought they were decent. If you're doing IB I wouldn't worry too much about how nice they are, just find something close to your office.
