OCR after graduating already?

Has anyone gone through their school's OCR after graduating already? At my school, which a good amount of banks recruit from, alumni can pay a fee to have access to the job listing website and submit our resumes. I've been out of school for a little more than a year now, but would like to apply for an analyst position that would start next summer. Has anyone gone through OCR post graduation or know anyone that's done it? Thanks!

I tried it years ago and was told no. While it sucks, it makes sense to me. Those opportunities are for undergrads - all grads had an opportunity to utilize the service when they were in school. Also due to the long lead time between recruiting and starting why would a company want to hire someone that was just gonna do nothing for a 9 months between getting hired and starting.

You were told no as in the school didn't allow you access to job listings and OCR? Or you were told no by the actual firms?

I was told no by the school, which in a way precludes you from even getting in touch with some companies seeing as though their first line if contact is through the resumes sent via resume drop. I went to some info sessions and talked to recruiters directly and asked if I could participate. If I recall they just said something like send your resume through the general application system or something, I don't remember but they weren't overly helpful.

Why don't you call or visit the campus career services staff and ask? Depending on the school and your rapport with the staff they may give you some assistance even if the standard policy is to assist enrolled students only.
