“On Average” how many Wall Street people make above a million a year
Sure there are some people who make multiple of that eventually but do most people get to that level ? How many leave and if they leave, do they make more somewhere else ? I mean there are only so many MDs and VPs positions. Where would you say most cap out at .

Median will be quite a bit lower than the mean. What do you define as 'Wall Street' anyway? For every IB job, there's half a dozen back and mid office jobs. They're great careers but very few will go on to make $1mm+
I would guess 75% of MDs on Wall Street across BB, MM, and EB make $1M+ if they are in the front office role. And 10% of MDs at these banks make $1M+ in the middle, back office role. 0.1% of VPs, Directors can make $1M+.
