On Cycle Recruiting Advice

I saw a couple threads with individual guides/experiences but wanted to hear from more people while it's still fresh in their minds. I'm still in undergrad so this is still a bit aways for me, but I wanted to get some advice right after your experiences to think about a plan once I graduate.

What was your on cycle experience like? When did you start prepping? What helped you prep the best?It seems like the process was very stressful. Is there anything you could have done beforehand (start prep earlier/study senior year) to ease some of the stress? If you could go back and change your prep strategy, what would you do?

Also I know for IB recruiting there is the standard 400 Q guide or other guides available everywhere online but what are the best or most valuable PE recruiting resources? Thanks!
