one week for the series 79?
I probably foolishly spent too much time working on the firm's training materials for the actual finance part of the program and now I have only one week to study for the 79. Is it as daunting as the threads from 2010 claim? We're going to a firm-sponsored class all week, and I will obviously spend a lot of time practicing at night after class too... Is there any hope?

my firm only gave me 1 week to prepare....read up and take a ton of practice tests, thats what i'm doing.
Bumping this. Taking the test at the end of August and haven't done any prep so far.
Also: Taking this without a formal prep class.
I did it in a weekend. You will be fine. Just make sure you "familiarize" yourself with the material and then do a ton of practice questions.
A friend of mine at Wells was working in his group and studying for the 79. He also had only a week to prep. He said it was no big deal.
