Opportunities after Corp Dev
I am an incoming first year analyst on a corp dev team. The company is very acquisitive, one of the top players in the industry (I want to stay in this industry long term) and works on deals across the industry space. However, it the role is not based in a major city.
I am hoping to move into IB or work strategy/ops at a startup after, how do I go about best positioning myself? And is that a realistic jump to make after a 2-3 year stint as an analyst?
