I know from reading confidence game that Ackman found employees from far different means then being a top analyst at a BB.
One of his hires was a fisherman/fishing guide that he met on vacation, and another guy in a taxi he shared in NY who was about to start a job in a FIG group.
What!! Someone got into PE without doing BB IB -> MM PE---> HWS-->Glory??? haha i wouldn't be surprised if atleast 2 HS/UG kids are now contemplating being a fisherman or just aimlesly taking cabs all day.
