PE contract offer vs. MM IB 2nd Round

Hi all, I could use some advice on choosing between a Fall/Winter internship offer at a pretty reputable PE shop and pursuing a full-time offer from a relatively niche MM bank (at the cost of having to renege on the PE-- currently in round 2 for this process, and one of their seniors has shown a willingness to speed up the process given my other offer). I have some pretty strong relationships at the PE that I would be very hesitant to burn by reneging, and their team has shown a willingness to help me with recruiting for any next steps after my term ends. In a situation like this, does it make sense to play a longer game and go with what seems like a higher-quality temporary job, or should I drop everything if I have a good chance at a full-time offer?
