PE/HF out of Truist

Will be joining Truist as a first year IB analyst next summer. I wanted to know how good buyside recruiting is out of Truist. Do the analysts get enough headhunter outreach (looking for opportunities in NY/SF/CHI). Should I start to think about moving to a different bank to improve my prospects. I have read on the forum that it's not looking good for the bank currently. Just wanted to know what kind of opportunities will I get access to and what should my path be going forward to get access to MM/UMM buyside opportunities. Any advice is appreciated.

A1 at Truist and have been hounded by headhunters and in the middle of on-cycle recruitment with a MF in NYC. Almost everyone in my group exited to PE or something similar (both in NYC and ATL)

Exit opps most definitely are not as bleak as WSO makes it seem. But also seems like said opps are based on what group you end up working in.

It’s true, you will have a much easier time trying to exit to somewhere in ATL or the Southeast. But it’s also disingenuous when people say exiting out of Truist to NYC or anything above MM is impossible
