PE/IB Internships Spinoff to FT IB

I am interning full-time at an real estate healthcare private equity firm this summer and also doing part time work with a boutique investment bank. My ultimate goal come full time recruiting season is to move into MM/BB investment banking. Real estate is interesting, but I still want to shop opportunities in different groups and industries if possible with my experience. Does REPE or PE in general spin pretty well into IBD? Should I focus on transaction experience and modeling with my resume? Would focusing on breaking into a real estate investment banking group give me so much more of an advantage as opposed to applying for another industry (industrials, tech, etc)?
