Ignore title, at a Blue Owl/ Golub. Not a well regarded shop in the private credit space, primarily provide financing for sponsor backed portfolio cos. to do bolt on acquisitions in the LMM space. IC process is a joke, these guys will do anything. Pay is well below street and culture is non-existent
Could you expand on Pennant Park thoughts?
Those guys are the worst. An old colleague of mine went to work there and ended up quitting to go back to school, said he felt it really hurt his career and limited his options without an MBA. I think he ended up working at FTX actually so obviously going to PP not the only bad decision he’s made career wise

I have not heard many things regarding them outside of that story about the drug fueled orgy after the Christmas party, sounded like a weird culture, but I think those who were involved ended up getting let go so it might be better now.

Good shop. Been putting a ton of money to work over last 6 months or so. Miami and NYC offices. Seems like good culture / good people. I don’t know anyone there but would imagine it’s a good place to work and Art Penn is well respected in the circles I have been in
