People Being God Awful at Their Job: A Universal Phenomenon?
Genuinely curious to hear people’s thoughts on this
I am constantly baffled by how bad people are at investment banking. I’m talking on a broad scale here, honestly would say that about 20% of bankers can truly be classified as “good” (and frankly it’s probably closer to 10% for AN/ASOs…)
What’s most shocking is how easy it is to get away with it in the allegedly cutthroat world of IB. Granted, it is fucking hard to be a good banker, so it may be a bit of an IB-specific phenomenon
Anyone w similar thoughts or am I just delusional?
