People Who Relocated Offices after completing 1st year as an ANL, how was your experience as a 2nd year in the new office?

I know there are threads on this office relocation, but not much on what the experience post-re-location was like. What were things that were unexpected? What were things you wish you knew or had thought about before choosing to relocate? I am currently a 1st-year analyst at a BB bank thinking about moving from a large regional office such as Chicago / LA to NYC, and I am curious to hear different experiences that people have had moving after 1st year. For context, I am trying to move because all my closest friends are there and I want to work in NYC.

Thanks!
