They seem pretty small... I only see one analyst on their team, and fewer than 10 people on the total team, including partners and officers. Not sure what the ballpark for comp would be but my guess is that the experience won't be as solid / transferable as starting at a BB. If I was given the choice of starting there or starting at a bulge, I would go with the bank. I think you'd have a better chance of moving to a well respected fund after completing a stint at a bank than doing a couple years at a small shop like this one. Just my personal take. However, if you know you want to work at a boutique PE shop and you like the people, then it isn't a bad option. I just think it closes some doors if you don't know what you want to do down the road.
150mm total under management. too small, i'd go with the BB IBD.
