Phone IV at MS London for Summer Analyst (?)

Hi,

Tried to find specific content in old threads but failed; please redirect me if there is!

Got invited to what MS refers to 2nd round phone interviews (30min) next week after completing initial assessments - what should I expect? More towards personal fit or technical? And how is the recruitment process structured in general for MS?

Unfortunately, worse prepared for IB recruiting than I thought, so need to put in some grunt work around this!

Thankful for any advice.

Best!

Hey there! Congrats on making it to the 2nd round of interviews at MS London. Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems like this round should be a technical one over the phone.

As for the structure of the recruitment process at MS, it typically starts with an online application and tests, followed by a phone interview (which you're at now), and then a final round of interviews which could be a Superday (a whole day of interviews with different people in the firm).

In terms of preparation, I'd recommend brushing up on your technical knowledge. The WSO Investment Banking Prep Course could be a great resource for this. It covers a wide range of topics that are commonly asked in these interviews, such as accounting, valuation, and financial modeling.

Remember, it's not just about knowing the right answers, but also about communicating them effectively. So, practice articulating your responses clearly and confidently.

Good luck with your interview! You've got this!
