Met some of the new interns at training a few weeks ago–they all seem pretty fratty and generally cool guys. Not sure about deal flow or actual in office culture but seems like a good group of people

Any insight on PE exit opps? As for the people, definitely agree. Many I have met are very cool and easy-going

Finally some houston love

Don’t know much about Piper besides that they have a nice office and sit in the same building as Goldman

More people need to come to houston I need more energy banking friends!

Save on taxes, rent is cheap, it’s hot af in the summer but good weather from November-March.

Energy also might not be a bad place to be at right now with all the activity and the transition to cleaner energy. Transition-> Companies restructuring-> companies acquiring others-> Big boy $$$

Thanks for the response. Totally agree that many are overlooking the benefits of Houston. Was wondering if you had any insights on Piper's PE exits seeing as they're a MM bank.
