Bump
Bit of hearsay since not seeing post, but hearing from friends that they are paying bonuses similar or very slight discount to what they paid same position last year.
What's the range on that? 450K TC last year?
yeah >100% base to my understanding
Maybe trying to address the issues they had last year - they had poor retention for not paying top of street like usual.
Bump
Wouldn't surprise me if they were pretty similar to last year - basically same amount of revenue (probably will even do a bit better than last year) with similar number of employees/partners (think they only added like 10 partners YoY)
Friends there don’t like to to share the exact numbers because it’s too easy to trace back given class sizes. But hear comp was very good
Yup, heard people are very happy while deal flow for 2023
Any numbers or TC figures you can share?
Why CVP/PWP?
Because he works at PWP…
Bump any data points?

Why do threads like this get made before bonus figures are actually released?
I hop on WSO this morning and see a “PJT Comp” thread with 30 replies - HMMM, seems interesting! Lmao nah, just a bump chain with a bunch of guesstimate rumors.
Y’all need to wait till numbers actually come out and stop wasting people’s time with this shit lol
PJT numbers did come out earlier this week… know mutual friends that confirmed but not close enough to them to ask.
numbers came out Tuesday, pretty decent but firm is too small to share broadly
wow wtf why did I go into PE
these numbers make me feel like a chump
At PJT
Confirmed numbers were communicated earlier this week. Aso stubs were higher than As1 bonuses reported elsewhere. As1-3 TC was broadly in the 400/500/600 range. No datapoints for VP and above but everyone seemed to be very happy. Internal messaging emphasized commitment to paying top of the street
Never seen that big a difference between AS class years instead of performance within years, at least at my BB. I've seen plenty of AS earlier in their tenure outearn "rest and vest" ASs
