PJT LA/Santa Monica

Hey all - current BB AS1 in NY looking to make a move to the LA region for personal reasons. There doesn't seem to be as much information on PJT's office out in Santa Monica. If anyone has any further insight on the office, that'd be much appreciated!

Office itself is stunning and overlooks Pacific Ocean, think Houlihan is in same building. Across the street from bungalow, which is pretty tight. The other comment is a *bit* off base in terms of who actually sits there, but the people who sit out there tend to focus on (video) gaming, a lot of media and west coast sponsors. The partners who sit there are all strong and run the gamut from coverage to M&A executioners, as well as the lead partner in activism. SA does not really have brightly delineated "groups", so much as partners who focus on specific verticals and those who align themselves to work with those partners and in those areas.

It is small but growing as the firm is very deliberate about who they are going to sit out there and there's high demand to move there among juniors for sure.
