During placement days in which you meet with groups which are of no interest to you, how do you treat these interviews or how do interviewers treat you when they know you have no interest in them. I won't really be researching these groups and don't want to come off as knowledgeable but on the other hand dont want to burn bridges by seeming uninterested and or dumb.

Act as you would meeting with any group. Contacts in different groups are important regardless, so you want to make a good impression even if you don't want to join the team. Say that you are eager to join the bank, want to learn about all the different groups, etc; stay positive, intelligent, while not going into too much detail. Also, if you end up getting placed in one of those groups ultimately, you'll want to have not come off as an entitled arrogant douchebag.
