Yes. At least corporate finance has some similarities.
Eli Lilly. If your goal is to work in IB, you're going to need to be able to explain why. Your "story" is going to make much more sense moving from Corp Fin -> IB than Consulting -> IB, especially if the consulting firm that you're considering isn't one of the more well-known ones.
Take LLY. Easier to explain the move, and probably better exposure at such a well-known brand name.
