Posting Exel Graphs in PPT

Which of the paste special options is usually used to paste exel-graphs etc in ppt, i.e. 'mcirosoft office grapic object', 'mcirosoft office chart object', or 'picture enhanced metafile'? Is there a standard?

Banks use their own special add-ins which facilitate linking in Excel charts and tables to PPT.

However if you're using stock Excel I like the "Copy As Picture" button in Excel which you can add to your Quick Access toolbar. You can choose to print as on the screen or as shown when printed (I like the second option). You then can just CTRL+V in PPT. It seems to play nicer than enhanced metafile which is my backup.

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.

You can insert an excel range as a PPT table by Copy Pasting the range into the PPT. Then if you want to preserve formatting, you can hit ctrl+k to paste with formatting. Then, you will have a PPT table that has the same formatting as the excel range. Useful for when you just want to format in excel and then convert over to PPT but as a regular table.

Though to update, you have to update the excel file and then re-paste.
