Prep for internship in TMT

I'm beginning an internship with a boutique firm in the TMT space. I am inexperienced and the internship begins soon. With the few days of preparation I have, what would you prioritise?

  1. Learn about the TMT industries, major players, hot areas
  2. Wallstreetprep modelling
  3. Excel ability, shortcuts etc
  4. Other

I'm trying to understand their purpose for having me, for they only want me there one day a week and will not put me on any deals while I'm at college (or holidays). They focus more on selling companies (10-250m range) rather than buying.

Background: I have done a few finance courses, modelling skills not very strong and only know the basic functions of Excel.

To clarify, any advice on what skills/knowledge will be most useful; and what work they will likely have me doing.
