Present value of a new financial asset
I've got a general question. How could accepting a low present value of an asset negatively impact that product in the future? For example, if a company came up with a new financial product, but they were told they need to accept a low valuation up front on the product in order to take it to market, how could that negatively affect the developer of the product on the back end?
