Private Credit/Private Debt/Direct Lending - London
I wanted to know what people's thoughts are on a career in private credit/debt/DL in London. I see a lot of posts but they all seem to relate to across the pond. From what I have read the WLB seems to be slightly better than IB/PE with a comp that reflects it. Is this true?
Would appreciate any insight on what the UK/LDN scene is like especially around long term career/WLB/comp.
(FYI currently at Big 4 looking at potential exit ops).
Curious to hear the difference vs. the US, given that companies in Europe massively rely on bank loans and very little on alternative lenders whereas in the US it's the opposite
