Probably a stupid question...
I'll be an intern as an analyst at a boutique IB. I'm not sure if bringing a backpack would be appropriate since I'll be wearing a suit. Should I purchase a laptop/messenger bag instead? I'm definitely not bringing a briefcase, not a baller yet. Any suggestions? Again, sorry if this comes off as stupid.
backpack is acceptable but is a fashion violation anywhere. invest in a quality messenger bag and you'll still have it by the time you're a VP.
What are you gonna carry around? A lunchbox? You have everything you need at your desk and you leave it there. You are not gonna take materials home as bedtime reading..
