Product teams vs sector vs regional
Hi,
I have the opportunity to choose a top 3 preference for a team in UBS London.
What should I take into consideration when deciding between product teams (I.e. m&a, Sponsors/Levfin) vs sector coverage (e.g. healthcare, industrials, tmt, fig, consumer & retail) vs regional (i.e. EMEA execution group)?
Things such as culture, hours, the work you do, exit opps, long term career prospects and degree to which you are client facing are all things that I want to base my judgement on. Looking at these aspects, what can I expect for the different teams?
I work at a regional office (not at UBS) and it sucks. Work at the main office in London. Trust me. Save yourself the FOMO
