Hey futurectdoc, I currently work in pub fin, so feel free to ask me anything specific, PM or over the forum. Try to get your hands on a few days of the Bond Buyer if possible. It is the industry-standard daily newspaper. My department has a subscription, so I'm not sure how you could find it, but there is lots of good information in there to generate good questions/get acclaimated to the really exciting world of tax-exempt debt.
