Is it a pretty smooth transition from a regional pubfin IB to a pubfin group at a BB? Does anyone have any experience or opinion on this?

Okay..How about this:
How is PubFin experience at a regional firm viewed at the BB level?
I would think there is less interest in PubFin and a more limited talent pool than say from a M&A Boutique -->BB, so if they saw a decent resume with PubFin banking experience at a respectable place, you would at least get an interview.
Is there any reason a BB would look down upon regional experience in PubFin? Has anyone made this transition and found a large gap in the skill set they picked up?
