Pushing back BB internship start date

Topic title is fairly explanatory...I have received my start date as a 2018 intern at a BB in NY. However, I will still be in school and finishing up with finals and need to push it back a week due to being on the quarter system. Can anyone provide me with some insight on this issue and if banks are accommodating for this? Thanks

I would tend to say no to students as a whole, but you could try explaining to them your situation and see what they say. They should understand because they don't want you failing your exams and then showing up to work there. It does not reflect them well.
