PwC audit or JPM

Hi everyone, I know the title is a bit misleading but bear with me. My goal is to make it to IB.

Currently I have a summer internship lined for JPM’s global finance and business management division with 2 year graduate scheme starting September. After several rounds of interviews with different places it was the only one that had a positive outcome.

Additionally I kept applying after being accepted, in hopes of an IB off-cycle but no luck but was able to secure a full time offer for PwC Audit in Luxembourg also starting September.

In my mind Audit offers more related job experience to IB, however JPM is the Household name. And this is where my dilemma comes. More applicable job experience or brand name is better?

Had an offer for GFBM. Solid program but it would be harder to move out of MO with the position, despite it being less Grindy and paying better.

PwC audit is probably a worse position but I think has better exit oppa

Audit is good training but not that great. Especially looking to go into IB.

If you end up at PwC, make sure you can transition to FDD-> transactions due diligence

There you will learn a ton about the deal process as you will be staffed in live deals.

Also, it is easier to go from FDD to Corp. Finance (PwC's M&A team).

From Corp. Fin you can transition to the M&A desks at the IBs

Plenty of these stories at PwC US, PwC Canada, and PwC Switzerland.
