understand the theory behind a DCF and be able to coherently walk the interviewer through one without sounding like you memorized the formula to get to FCFs
It will be mostly fit - know the DCF and know and basics of valuation (comps, intrinsic, transactions, etc.). Know the industry your office focuses on if you are in say Houston for O&G or Tech in San Fran.
