PWM to DCM Lateral
Hi WSO,
Looking for honest advice. I’m a PWM Analyst at a BB looking to lateral into DCM. I’m a year out of college and graduated from a non target with a high GPA/strong extracurriculars (would just need the Series 79 to hit the desk).
Can anyone provide some insight into how to successfully make this jump? What should I be learning in the meantime (DCM specific) other than just chatting with bankers. Any advice on how I can up my response rate on cold emails from a non target? Is this realistic? These are some questions that initially come to mind.
Thank you.
