PWP London TMT - Tech?

Looking to get some info on PWP London.

Heard it’s a great platform - culture and pay, but wondering about the composition of their TMT team in London.

Do they actually do any tech / software out of London? Do they have any good seniors covering that and worked on any tech deals recently? Asking because I heard tmt was mostly telco so wanted to get to the bottom of it

Many thanks!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, PWP's London office primarily focuses on M&A, with a stronger track record in Industrials (Germany and France) rather than a heavy emphasis on TMT. While PWP is recognized for its solid platform, culture, and pay, there isn't specific evidence in the knowledge base indicating a strong focus on tech/software deals out of their London TMT team. The mention of PWP's M&A deal flow suggests that their TMT work might lean more towards telco/media rather than tech/software.

If you're specifically targeting tech/software, it might be worth exploring other firms or teams with a more defined focus in that area.

Bump - heard they are poaching a new MD for Software. Anyone got any ideas which shop he's coming from?

Update: just saw they poached an MD from Evercore and named him Partner to lead the Software team
