PWP Referral System
Hi! I just got out of a networking call with an analyst at Perella. It went well, super cool guy, and he said he would refer my application after I officially applied. I applied and so he asked for specifics about my name and college to refer me. Now I got an email saying:
“Dear XXX,
You’ve been referred to PWP.
We encourage you to visit our website to learn more…
We appreciate your interest in our firm”
Does this mean that he referred my specific application? Does this actually help? Will my chances of landing an interview go up?
Ppl are giving me bananas, I dont want bananas I want an answer!!!
With all due respect, it's pretty disappointing/concerning that you weren't able to figure out for yourself that this means your application was referred, when the email literally says "you've been referred to PWP".
Yes, it does help a bit as far as getting a first-round interview.
