Q&A: Cross Border Corporate Finance And Investment Banking

Charles is Head of Corporate Finance and Capital Markets at Ÿnsect, the world’s leading producer of sustainable insect-derived protein, all-natural fertilizer and other organic by-products.

Charles was most recently a senior Vice President at Greenhill & Co., based in New York, where he advised corporate, private equity, creditor and hedge fund clients in Europe and North America on cross-border mergers & acquisitions (M&A), debt and equity financings, restructurings and special situation assignments across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Greenhill, Charles worked at Blackstone in London and in the Global Advisory team at Rothschild & Co. in Paris, advising both companies and financial sponsors on cross-border transactions and capital raisings

Impressive.

1. How you managed to move around NYC/London/Paris? Some people never get the chance to move so freely internationally.

2. How different is covering cross-border deals from London vs. NYC? Countries, teams, work, complexity, etc.
