Qatalyst London

I’m interviewing with Qatalyst London for their summer analyst position and was wondering what the firm’s reputation is in the city. I’ve seen they worked on some high-profile deals during the boom but how well will they do now? Also the team seems very small (around 10 people???). Does anyone have insights on the culture? How does the firm compare with top London TMT teams?

Congrats! Best place if your focus is on Tech and want to be a long term banker.

The pay is top on the street and bonuses are usually more than 100% from what Ive heard, given the fact that there are only 10 ppl in the office

Regarding deal experience, they participate in high profile tech deals in Europe, usually advising the target, whereas GS/MS/JPM are the ones who advise the buyer

Nice and laid-back culture but can be a double-edged sword. Its not like in a big bank/boutique where you can fit well with one team and not so well with the others. Given the size of the office, its either they like or they dont and your conversion to FT will depend on that

Cannot comment on exit opps as most people there usually stay there. But I guess GE/VCs should be the norm, MFPE would still prefer BBs
