Hey there- I am considering moving from one bank to another for a better opportunity.(VP to VP role) I was wondering what I can consider acceptable in terms of salary % increase to move jobs. I really like my current bank, but I want to explore this other opportunity. The hiring recruiter said 10-15%, but I am wondering if that is negotiable? Also, is it unheard of to ask for a sign on bonus? I feel like we are 1/2 way thru the year and I am giving up some bonus money on the table. I have been with my current bank almost 10 years so this is new to me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!
