Question - London IBD Outlook and Future post Brexit

Non EU guy here, did Econ undergrad from a top school in France, exchange in the US with good GPA, internships in Spain and now in Argentina (business analyst and VC), planning to attend top B school in France (from 2021) with a gap year from 2020-21. Looking to break into IBD SA 2022 positions but having read different posts here, I feel very pessimistic about not only my chances of getting in but also the pròspects. Though I love capital markets more, I was planning to do the traditional IB>PE>HF/VC thing. Or maybe just stick with either IB or PE. Any advice for me? Should I focus on something else other than IB? It feels very depressing reading all of these forums despite giving in my best at whatever I can do before my Masters. Thanks a lot!
