Question on Vaquero Capital For Those In Tech
I recently interacted with Vaquero Capital. In all honesty, I was very impressed by their team and transactions.
Really wanted to hear the opinions of those within the industry on their reputation and your personal perspectives on taking on a role there following prior banking experience. Thanks in advance, all insight would be immensely helpful.

I catch up with them 1-2x a quarter, good group, knowledgeable in the space, and solid tombstones in the LMM/MM as you noted. Can’t really comment on anything like culture, comp, experience etc. unfortunately. Without knowing your other options or where you’re coming from, I can at least say they’re a legit group that I think of favorably.
Solid group in terms of transactions/tombstones but have heard that the founder is tough to work with/has a poor reputation in market; and that the culture is pretty non-existent
