Questions about Big Four and BB

Just got back from a Big Four career fair. It went well, I made a lot of the recruiters laugh, delved into their personal lives, and learned a lot about the internship positions. I think I left a memorable impression on them. However, how does this help me in receiving the internship position? Because I was told to just apply to the firms online, how do these recruiters, who've accepted my resume, help me?

And if I do get an offer from a Big Four, should I still go out and hunt for a BB summer position? What would look better for attaining an SA position at a bulge bracket the next summer?

Recommendation to WSO owner: Create a section for "New WSO Members" it would have FAQ from chimps over the years, including the one above. Some questions are seriously asked over and over again by the fresh batch of Juniors/Seniors.

WSO is great for specific questions etc. but for all the rest of the classic questions, a FAQ would be great.
